            It was the 1-year Anniversary of Becky and I living together so we had to celebrate. We have been trying for almost as long to make it to this little hidden Restaurant Bistro 222, which is right down the street from our house. Well the cosmos must have been aligned right because they were opened, there wasn’t any special meeting going on and we were able to eat there on Monday night.

            It wasn’t anything we expected it to be. I expected more of a deli type atmosphere and it was completely different. The menu was small about 10 different entrée options all seemed rather appetizing but for 3 of the people sitting at our table we decided on the Perch and Becky went with the steak.

            The service was excellent well it should have been since we were the only other table that was in the restaurant at the time. The food was superb, amazing flavors the portions were a good size for the amount being spent.

            Overall it was a good meal but nothing to spectacular or out of the ordinary. I am glad that we tried it and finally made it there on such a special occasion. I wouldn’t say that it would be a regular haunt of mine from now on though.
